Safe Seal

Safe Seal is a very high-quality, strongly adhesive MS polymer based windscreen sealant. This sealant has been specially developed for the fast and professional gluing of car windscreens. Due to its unique composition Safe Seal offers perfect adhesion to old windscreen sealant, glass and ceramic edges, without using a primer.

These properties ensure that no other extra products are necessary when fitting car windscreens with Safe Seal. The chances of making a mistake when fitting are also highly reduced. Therefore, the product simplifies the formerly complex process of fitting these windscreens.
Safe Seal is also free of solvents and isocyanates and does not contain silicones either. Due to its unique composition the product is perfectly UV resistant, so it is extremely well suited to applications in which the sealant edge is exposed to sunlight.

A very big advantage of the product is that it has an extremely high initial strength and this has a positive effect in that the windscreen does not subside, certainly if it has to be placed vertically. In addition, Safe Seal has the very positive property of having high constancy, meaning that the strip of sealant does not collapse during processing. When hard, Safe Seal contributes to the rigidity of the bodywork. Therefore, the product also gives the vehicle very good torsion rigidity.

Safe Seal has been certified by TÜV Rheinland after having successfully passed a crash test according to FMVSS 212: only 30 minutes after the windscreen was glued, the test car smashed into a concrete wall at more than 48 km/h, but the bonding remained 100% intact so all safety systems like airbags and seat belt retractors could work optimally. This proves that Safe Seal contributes to maximum vehicle safety as intended by the designer upon car development.

Due to its base of MS polymers Safe Seal has a long pot life after opening, so opened cartridges no longer need to be discarded. The product is also very easy to remove from the hands after use.

The handy 290 ml cartridges make Safe Seal very economical and easy to use.

Windscreens glued with Safe Seal can be cleaned and degreased using Seal and Bond Remover or Multisol.
